Fractured
This began as an image that I had previously started to work on but which had reached a 'dead end' for me. I didn't feel I had reached a satisfactory end point it i couldn't see how to successfully develop it further. So I left it for a time before revisiting. I then used some new techniques to create the final image above - it is one in a series of sinewy textured pieces I have created.
This was what i felt was a 'dead end' image for me:

I was looking over previous work and decided to continue developing a previous image that I had already worked on. This was the final piece I created - I loved the intersecting lines and to me it suggested a sense of sinews and muscles being pulled apart to allow a look inside:

Sunset
I really appreciate the merging and melting colours of sunset and find it is an image I am often drawn back to. I enjoy creating sunset scenes and exploring the different colours and textures. This painting was created over a number of weeks as I stopped and started and then restarted it in different directions a number of times.
I used a wide range of digital tools to create it along a similar developmental path to previous posts. Here is the original image and some of the stages:
