Suggestion of water

I really liked this image that I created a few weeks ago. I loved the rippling effect and it reminded me of water. I decided to further explore the idea of water using this as a base image:




I manipulated and developed it to create this:




To me this suggests being under the water with the light streaming down through it. I like the angular shapes at the top - they feel slightly cubist and they remind me of the way the light glints off the surface of a swimming pool.
